CLOVE RIVER DAM
Underwater Inspection
Coastal Engineering’s ADCI-certified commercial divers performed an underwater inspection at Clove River Dam in rural Sussex, NJ. As with all our dam inspections, we provided a visual and tactile inspection of the target areas – in this location, we inspected the underwater portions of the up and downstream faces, wingwalls, training walls, outlet structure, and sluice gate.
At Coastal, all diving operations conform to OSHA CFR 1910 subpart T regulations, and our staff hold the required certifications to perform these inspections thoroughly and efficiently. Our PE Dive Supervisors hold ASDSO Inspection & Assessment of Dams certifications along with OSHA 30/40, ADCI Dive Supervisor credentials and lifesaving certifications
