Coastal Engineering LLC performed dye testing and underwater repairs to an actively leaking potable water clearwell in North Carolina. Previous dye testing had identified a leaking 5’L vertical thru crack. Coastal’s commercial divers performed another dye test to confirm the location of the leak and required polyurethane crack injections. Our commercial divers then used DE NEEF injectables to perform the crack repair. Our team has been trained directly by DE NEEF and Coastal holds certification as an Approved Applicator of DE NEEF Grouts. DE NEEF’s waterproof injection solutions have potable water certifications worldwide and Coastal is proud to offer trained and approved technicians to perform these services.

Coastal returned to the plant to clean five (5) 36” slide gates with a high-pressure water jet. Our ADCI-certified commercial divers performed the cleaning via use of surface-supply air equipment, hand tools, and a high pressure water jet.
