Coastal Engineering has performed multiple services as part of the Maritime Security Services for Undersea Survey Program for Bridge and Tunnel Infrastructure. The project consisted of initial and recurring inspections of seven bridges and two tunnels over the course of three years.

The purposes of the inspections were to identify specific hazards and areas of concern, be it natural or man-made, that pose a threat to the integrity of the structures or the safety of the public. We worked with a variety of teams and the proper authorities to assist with development of a response protocol in the event of any substantial findings. The inspections employed the use of one of our dive boats, 3D multi-beam scanning, Echoscope Scanning, ROV video, hydrographic surveys, and hands-on diver inspection.
